ALL THAT YOU TOUCH
Another gap filler and the last LP in my Joe Walsh collection, “TGTN.”
I heard this a few times back in the bad old days because we had an open copy in a record store I managed… one of my clerks loved it and played it regularly. I should have fired him with cause.
Everything on this record kinda slips into a mid-tempo (Eagles, cocaine, brown m&ms, teenage girls, ‘howyadoin’ and all-of-the-combinations-of-those-things-you-don’t-want-to-think-about) feel.
I hear they left Rivers (of hidden funk) off of The Long Run. Smart move.
There’s a semi-popular song on side 2. That’s the most positive thing I have to put forth for this LP.
There’re a few Joe Walsh songs I love. None of them are on this LP.
