COLLECTORS ONLY

This, my friends, is a bootleg that a friend picked up for me because he knows I collect everything I can get my greedy hands on with JIMI’s name stenciled on it.

This boot is a compilation of 45s and songs that were considered ‘rare’ in the days before EVERYTHING was at your fingertips. So here’s what we’ve got;

Side 1

Jimi Hendrix Experience – The Stars That Play With Laughing Sam’s Dice, Highway Chile

Graham Bond ORGANization – Hear Me Calling Your Name, Camels & Elephants

Side 2

John Mayall – No Reply, I’m A Stranger, Sonny Boy Blow, Don’t Kick Me, Stand Back Baby

Old Man Voice – “Back in the olden days when we played records by rubbing two sticks together this would be the best way to get Jimi’s LSD song on a 12″ platter.”

And since this little number is going into my Jimi file AND it has Mick Taylor on one of the Mayall cuts, I’m glad it arrived.

The fidelity is just decent (sadly the worst is on the Jimi cuts) but I may pull this out at a party someday.

For collectors only! (Is my recommendation).
